I emailed you when I got my M-Audio Q40's regarding a new cable, but didn't get back to you. Since then my original cable stopped working so M-Audio sent me a new one.
Now I have a long cable for the studio, I need a short, tough one for outside.
- Do you need me to post threaded inputs to make this?
- Are a pair from my faulty cable suitable? The cable is crackly so one end only works at a certain angle.
- Are there any mods/recommendations for the Q40? If so, prices? (I’d like to keep threaded inputs)
- Depending on parts, how much is a short (I'll confirm length) cable to make + ship to UK?
What kind of cable is used? I like clear if possible:

Otherwise Matt black is good. Pricey audiophile isn't needed, but quality, tough cable would be great.
