    get the auzentech prelude, i noticed a clear audible improvement over the regular x-fi. also the prelude is great for games, the best soundcard you can get for gaming actually. yes i do own many first person shooters and i used to play them although i haven't had much time for games in the last few months (medschool prep sucks the time out of your life), but i digress.
    if i were you, i'd go for the dt770, since i felt they are the only ones that have enough bass for electronic music. the k701 and dt880 are great (i like the dt880 more) but they're so lean in the bass that you'll find yourself missing that thump once you start listening more. i haven't tried the akg240, so i can't comment on those.

    and btw, i listen to a lot of progressive house/electro/trance so i know what i'm talking about.

    hey man.

    I'm debating on what headphones/sound card to get atm. I want to get an x-fi because I play games as well as make music, but now I'm starting to think that maybe I should get the auzentech prelude x-fi due to the higher quality dacs and with me interested in purchasing a high-end set of headphones.

    Do you play games with ur prelude? how does it fair?

    I really can't decide whether to get the DT770/DT880/AKG K240/AKG K701! I'm so lost its not funny.

    P.S = I make electronic/dance music.

    Thanks!

    Matty B.
