- FrankenZero DAC/Pre with Earth HDAM in DAC/LT1364s in amp + NOS Alps pot, Silicon Chip Professional headphone amp (kit) known as KHA 1.5 with OPA Moon HDAM and upgraded to KHA 1.5 status, Corda 2MOVE.
OPA Moon is a stunning upgrade in this amp, loved for it's sheer musical flow and effortless dynamics. I now use a new and fully rebuilt amp with top SQ parts is now known as KHA IIA, Russian PIOs and Black Gate caps alongside Nichicon FG/ES and FA caps, Dale resistors, OPA Moon with audio-gd power supply. - Apple G4 14" Laptop, Marantz DV6600 DVD/SACD/DVD-A player, Yamaha CDX 1110 CD player, 120 GB iPod Classic.
- Cable Inventory
- Headphone cables are standard so far; interconnects for the kit headamp are White Zombie's La Cacanya (pure silver), another shorter length of silver ribbon cables, Neotech KHS154-SPC Hyper Balanced, AudioQuest's beautifully made Mini 3 3.5mm to RCA cable.
- Power-Related Components
- Plinius IIC pre-amp upgraded to Frankie status with PIOs and Black Gate bypass caps, power supply upgraded from 16,000uF total to 35,200uF Nichicon PWs, plus Elna Silmic ARS caps in the amp, Shottkey diodes in PS. Trevor Lees "Positive Vibrations" tube pre-amp (about to undergo Frankenization), Yamaha AX 900 amplifier with PIO bypass caps (I sometimes use the very good pre-amp stage with the head amp)

- Linn Sondek t/t, Ortofon X5-MC and Grado Prestige Gold cartridges, Thorens TD 160 - highly modified with Mayware Formula 4 unipivot and Supex 1000 MC, Energy 22 PRO speakers, NAD C541 CD player (not with me at the moment), NAD 5440 CD player

- Most electrolytic and polyester caps on KHA bypassed with ERO MKP (polypropylene) .01uF caps, including power supply.
Fuses removed and replaced with pure silver ribbon.
KHA has become KHA 1.5, with a serious upgrade to virtually all components and the power supply.
Zero has become FrankenZero! Jaw droppingly, eye blinkingly stunning results! When playing with the much higher spec KHA IIA, music leaves hi-fi behind and becomes an event in something like 4D, the electronics disappear.
