Hi Peete , many thanks for your reply . I have FT-2 0.039 . All FT1/FT-3 on e-bay at least
0.1 value . I am worried that bypassing 0.47 with 0.1 could be to much "teflon sound " -
that do you think ? Is FT-2 not as good in comparison to FT-1/FT-3 ? And last question -
is soundstage of teflon caps much smaller in comparison to teflons - that was i understand from asylum posts . Once again many thanks in advance - really appreciated your help . Best wishes . Val

K75-10's on their own are OK it's when you combine them with the Teflon bypass cap that the pairing becomes special. I don't know what the AA guys are talking about. I've had no deviations in SQ or build quality. Make sure you are getting K75-10 and not KT75 (if there is such a thing).

Hi Peete , thank you for your reply . I have FT-2 - are they not as good as FT1/FT3 ?
Thank you in advance . I read on audioasylum that people don't like KT75 - is it because
different versions /batches ? Best regards , Val

Any value T1 or T3 Russian Teflon is fine with the K75-10 caps. I much prefer the Teflon/K75-10 combo over anything else for two reasons, first and foremost cost vs the boutique stuff and secondly and most importantly ...the SQ is outstanding making that pairing an unbeatable value.

Hi Peete , hope you are well . I read your post and would be very grateful if you can advice me on the values of bypassing 0.47 k75-10: would be 0.047 teflon or slightly bigger to get more details ? I also have copper amphoms - do you think that k75 better ?
I have impression that Jon likes k75 more ... Thank you in advance . Best regards . Val

hi peete the iron is a 70watt unit with a temperature control in celsius. its preset to 350c but can go as high as 500 I think. the reason I ask is because I was trying to desolder parts from a digital amp board and nothing would melt.
