    Sorry to be so late in my response. I like the combination, it gives the 701 a little midrage warmth & weight that my McCormack Micro Line Drive did'nt appear to. I listen to mostly acoustic music (Classical, some Singersongwriter & some jazz) with a preference to live recordings. Hope this helps

    I noticed that you have both the akg k701 and the opera cyber 20. Do you think they are a good pairing? I´m also looking at the Shanling ph300 as a point of comparison. Any thoughts?
