    Hey,

I saw your post regarding the Grados and the Zero.

I have the Zero DAC modded with OPa637's in the DAC and LT1364 in the Headamp section. I have Grado 125's and the GS1000's.... both sound terrific right off the Zero..the Grado AC amp sounds about the same..simply put,the Zero is very similar like comparing Sweet and Low sweetener to Slpenda..both good and sweet but still a little different.in comparison. Does this help?

In case you did not know..Grado buys back your old headphones and credits you a rebate towards an upgrade..I an sending in my 125's for $100 credit ($150 Retail) to buy the 225's for $200. That could work for you...get the better headphones upgrade the chips and you will love it...I have discovered sounds in my CDs never before heard without the Zero.

I was planning on getting either a a Cambridge audio 840C ,Marantz SA-8001 or a benchmark DAC..forget the Zero will leave you more than satisfied. Let me know if you have any questions..
