    Hello to Stockholm, Mattias,
    I just registered to get in contact to you.
    I found your sale ad of Buffalo Balanced DAC but was to late - congrats for your great build !
    Is it possible that you might build a look-alike full-feature balanced DAC (also incl. USB) with Buffalo32 parts for me?
    Please answer me via email so we can discuss this possiblilty. BIG THANKS for response !
    Kind regards, VJ

    Hello Mattias,

    I don't know if you got my message but this is what I have in mind:

    Inputs
    ======
    USB
    Coaxial
    Optical

    Amp Outputs
    ===========
    RCA 1 pair
    Balanced 3pin XLR (Left + Right) 2 pairs

    Switch
    =======
    3 position input selector switch for USB/Coaxial/Optical
    3 position output selector swich for RCA/Balanced 1/Balanced 2

    No pre amp, no headphone outputs.

    High Quality State of the art top of the range components please.

    This would be the ideal setup for me but your recommendations will be much appreciated!

    Servicing is important to me, if something goes wrong in the future I would like the unit to be easily serviced either by you or locally in Athens.
    I mean I want something simple please.

    Many thanks
    Stavros

    Hello,
    I am looking for a balanced DAC but with a USB input.
    I have seen your Buffalo DAC it looks impressive.
    Do you build DAC's for potential customers or that's one off?
    I am based in Greece, if you are interested let me know.
    Thanks

    Could you tell me where you got the parts to do the cabling? I am getting ready to start building an amp and I am trying to take my time and do it right. This was one of the things I wanted to do. Also, what crimping tool did you use? I've seen some sold on digi-key in the $150 range. I was hoping a cheap $20 or $30 one would work.

    Thanks.
