    Qoute: I use my Rudistor RPX-100 as a preamp in my main system. It is probably (at least in my system) even better as a preamp than as a headphone amp. This is compared to an Audio Research LS17 for instance.

    Ik ben zelf aan het overwegen om een RPX-100 aan te schaffen en ik vroeg me na deze post het volgende af: betekend dit dat de RPX-100 meer geschikt is als een pre-amp dan als een koptelefoon versterker? (dat je dan eigenlijk beter af bent met een NX-33?)

    No, I never tried that. I live in an apartment and have very limited opportunity for seperate power supply or something. Luckily the power supply is very good, so I don't have any trouble that I'm aware of.
    Power conditioners usually don't have the capacity I need. Just for my main setup I need 12 outlets..... and 7 for my computer rig (the PC et all not counting).
    For my main rig I don't see how I can make that happen, especially with the limited space I have available.
