Hi there! You have - or had - a pair of HD280s. Did you ever get them working again? Did you try a cable mod? I find voice wholly lacking in emotion, to the extent that it's not always clear to me who is singing. I should have tried them with vocal and accoustic tracks but... Your Blue Tack mod interested me. It looks like the first one stops air flow to the drivers, whereas the second one appears not to block it off but damped the casing. I am keen to try out Blue Tack, anything to give some warmth to voice. Any pointers?
