I have just got my SA6, and was looking forward for the wireless adapter, actually that was one of my reason to get SA6. But after I saw the pic and some replies, that it will not be "completely" wireless, like sennheiser, I am not considering it anymore. My concern is microphonic noise. Honestly, I am quite frustrated with the standard cable, it is so microphonic. If I tried to wear it over the ear, I could not get good seal. I am concern with the noise when the wireless receiver bounces behind my neck.

This is typical of most any IEM worn with the cables down. A shirt clip like the one Etymotic makes for its ER-6 earphones (available here and here) will reduce the microphonics significantly.

X2. Shirt clips are the best non-tech inventions ever.

Just read back in the thread a little. We all know exactly whats going on. Jason said they would be introduced at some big show in New York at the end of the month. So I dont see any reason for them to update us unless somthing has changed and there is a delay. At last check he said it is on schedule and you should see them debued at the end of September.

Odd that you don't get as good a seal, considering the way the unit is inserted in the ear is independent of the direction the wire is pointing. Are you sure you're inserting deep enough? Putting the wire over the ear virtually eliminates microphonics for me.
Short of that, a 50 cent shirt clip will do the trick.

To answer some of the other questions. Yes, the chip is relatively small but you have to have an amp that can drive our armature driver and still give the gain that everyone is looking for. If we "start" with a tethered system it allows us to let 4 users share one transmitter and use less battery power. Great for sharing. You will get about 9-10 hours per charge. This also gives time to allow smaller chips and amps that are around the corner to come out and work with smaller independent systems.
Maybe if some of you are in NYC September 23-25 you can stop by the Digital Life show at the Javitz Convention Center. Mark and I along with a few others of the sleek crew will be there with the new wireless to demo in a large environment with tremendous interference.

Just checked, and the DigitalLife show has been canceled, according to the website.

Sonofa...
Well, let's hope Sleek's willing to shrug it off as a "would've been nice" sort of situation and continue with the release timeline as planned.

It certainly will be interesting to try! Do you have any material, sites etc I could read about either this variety of wireless sleek are incorporating or the actual sleek wireless adaptor?

Digital life has officially been cancelled. I am very disappointed as we had incredible booth placement and a lot of advertising going into it.
So here is the deal.........
We are preparing our media campaign and will start shipping the wireless to vendors the last week of September with official sales starting October 6th. I will have more info up this week.
Keep an eye on the website
