Default New Wireless Kit

I heard from this thread that sleek audio seems to have a new improved wireless kit.

Have anyone tried it ?
Is the "hiss" gone in their new and improved wireless kit ?

Yeah.

Great news for those that haven't already bought the original crappy Wireless adapter.

Everything that normally comes with the CT6s normally, are included in the bundle package.

The same goes for SA6 bundle packages.

I wonder if Sleek could make the wireless have detachable/replaceable cables in later versions. The point of having a replaceable cable in the first place is so that you get rid of the problem of broken cords ruining the entire set. With the wires still there on the wireless accessory not capable of being replaced easily, it kind of feels like a step backwards.

As per the thread I made, I'm not even going to bother with the wireless unit anymore. It's a hassle to charge it, it barely gets me through a shift at work (leaving me musicless for the commute home), and the wire is a liability (one side's good enough, right? ).

Maybe I'm just being whiny since I was hoping to be able to use my SA6 when I got them back.

Oh, so you are suggesting that the 2 wires on the left and right of the wireless receiver, to be able to be detached when wanted ?
So there will be 4 parts in a sa6 wireless.
Wireless transmitter, wireless receiver, short cables(male-male ?), iem(sa6) ?

Sounds cool, to be able to switch out the parts that are faulty and directly replace them at a cheaper cost, rather than replacing the entire wireless W-1, which is more costly.

OT1: If this is going to be implemented, "argh" for the need to get another wireless set.. 3 W-1 ?

OT2: Another connection point for tweaks like Maple Shade Silclear ?

Although I never had any problems with my W-1 at all, except that its the old version, having the eee sound, which was solved in the latest one. The battery life was sufficient for me haha.

Btw,
@Andrew
Do you guys sell the barrel ports that you guys use in all your iem/custom ?
Would be nice to make it an option in the accessories "Shop Now" page, would like to try to DIY cables for my SA iems
*High graded copper cabled CT6, anyone ? *

Exactly. More parts to lose but the system would be more "durable" due to quick and easy replacement.

Also, another thing I'd like to see is maybe a necklace that the wireless attachment could connect to for when you have to take it out but don't want to have to worry about putting it away. Maybe that's just me.

Are there any plans to develop a device that focuses only on being a good; digital-in, transmitter/receiver, dsp, & dac, with no "lock-in" to your headphones?
One that can take all Dolby formats via optical and then decode them with a built in DSP, but at the same time has a decent DAC for multi-channel & stereo would be truly awesome!

Why hasn't anyone devised something like this, sigh... Sales would have to go off the charts imo!
Instead of having to buy the all-in-one wireless headphones from Pioneer etc which are sub-par and overpriced....
