Default static question

I love the sa6 and even the wireless adapter (when switched to comply tips as they stay in my ear MUCH more securely). But when I plug the W-1 into my iPhone 3g, I get alot of static in the background. Not a low pitched humming, but rather lots of garbled noise. It may be because the iphone is constantly sending out 3g, wifi, gps, and bluetooth signals which could cause interference, but does anyone have any ideas on how to cut this down? I don't want to turn off 3g/wifi because I listen to lots of streaming feeds. Maybe a shielded cable though? Or maybe I could switch channels on the w-1? Is there a way to do that?

Thanks,
Pinny

The wireless does run on 2.4ghz just like wifi etc so the only way id say is to turn the stuff off.

Yup wonderful stuff on the 2.4... like some cordless phones, 802.11b, 802.11g, Bluetooth (802.15), microwave ovens...

Default Same problem

Pinny,

I just got myself a pair of these too and sadly i think i am experiencing the same problem.

I know the problem is not because of interference because i know how to start the humming and how to reset it so it stops.

What i do is a hard reset via the switch (i just wish this switch was bigger so i would just start the unit this way all the time) and this fixes the problem. However, once i let it auto-off and restart the unit the buzzing comes back and its too noticable to ignore!

Im not sure but maybe the sleek-audio guys can help me? (Sorry i don't mean to hijack your thread just thought we suffer from the same problem so i might as well post here too)

I really got these earphones just for the wireless feature and the great sound quality is a plus! However, the hiss is unbearable and i am hoping maybe its a problem with my unit?

Regards,
