hmm i know on my 1 and 2's the cable is alright, its quite soft and flexible. on my 3's its stiff as hell and already broke once.

now it seems people buying the 2 are getting the new stiff rigid cable also, so klipsch why the change for the worse?

Yup. Starting to really like the C3s, but that cable is a real PITA! It adds another 80 db in scraping friction sounds to what ever you are listening to when ever you move. New cable would make the C3s that much better!

ive found if you tighten up the memory wire getting more of it in contact with your ear then it massively reduced the microphonics

I own a latter version of X10's for a month or so, cables are ok. Will write if anything happens later.
