Default Has anyone at Klipsch...

Tried an impedance adapter on the Custom Series headphones? I was kind of disappointed in my Custom-1s until I tried an impedance adapter that I threw together, but then everything just fell into place. It seems like these are actually pretty good, just too sensitive to give the full spectrum at a reasonable volume. I'm going to add this to my impressions thread, and I'll probably be getting a quality impedance adapter to use from now on. (I'm not going to show you mine, but I will say it involved alligator clips instead of solder in some parts)

"I'll show you mine if you show me yours??" Sorry, couldn't resist the schoolyard thought.

Well if you insist...

Don't say I didn't warn you.

The rest is just the cable of an Altec Lansing iM716 w/pod. As you can imagine, if I could hear a difference based on that, a well put together one could be pretty nice.
