By the way, just curious, do you own any other IEMs/headphones right now and if so, what are they?

The only other headphone I have right now is the Denon C751, and the C3's sound 100 times better to me than the Denons.
But a couple points, the Denons are not burned in (10 hours only). Denon's seem like alot of treble and some bass with not that much of a midrage compared to C3s. C3's seem like they have the right and equal amount of everything (highs, mids, lows). |

Armature drivers do not have a burn in period.

This morning I decided to send the Image back, but on certain music they're so damn good, I wonder if it's possible to adapt to the midrange. . . well, I'll know in a few weeks.

I'm wearing glasses and using Westone UM1, which have very similar design (over-the-ears).
It does not pose any problem at all. The cable of the customs seem to be a bit thicker - but I doubt it be uncomfortable... unless you constantly taking them on and off, perhaps .Oh, and cannot resist: Quote:

My Custom-3s arrived today. I'm listening now, but not ready to post any impressions yet. I am struggling with getting a seal, which I didn't expect, but I think I'll get that figured out. The bigger issue is that I have some congestion in my head, and my right ear is killing me. I think I'll wait till that clears up, before I try to do any serious evaluation of these earphones. It's painful to listen right now.

I've personally experienced armature burn-in, you can't make an definitve statement like that! With all do respect, I disagree.
