:( Bu**er! Just broke my Custom 2's
Having just broken my Custom 2's (Having trodden on them
 ) is it a good time to upgrade to the Custom 3's or better?I quite liked the sound of the 2's after burn in, and they seem much better than the Shure E2C's they replaced.

There is nothing definitively better than the custom 3 for the price i see on amazon ~170. Especcially considering most gripes with the klipsch custom series are fit/style/cable and not SQ, I do not see any reason for you to rty a different brand if you already like the build of the klipsch custom series.

I thought the Custom 2's sounded good, I think the Custom 3's sound great.
I just wish Klipsch would have put 10 seconds of thought into designing that terrible cable.
