Default :( Bu**er! Just broke my Custom 2's

Having just broken my Custom 2's (Having trodden on them ) is it a good time to upgrade to the Custom 3's or better?

I quite liked the sound of the 2's after burn in, and they seem much better than the Shure E2C's they replaced.

There is nothing definitively better than the custom 3 for the price i see on amazon ~170. Especcially considering most gripes with the klipsch custom series are fit/style/cable and not SQ, I do not see any reason for you to rty a different brand if you already like the build of the klipsch custom series.

I thought the Custom 2's sounded good, I think the Custom 3's sound great.
I just wish Klipsch would have put 10 seconds of thought into designing that terrible cable.
