If you answered "yes" to bullet #3, the NY Head-Fi contingent have the solution. Right, Aaron, Tom, and friends?
Yes, that's right sheriff. They will be introduced to Teflon Tom and will be forced to sleep with the fishies.
No badge for you, no soup for you. Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Good to know that they'll have avatars cuz mine is a sissy dragonfly. It should be fun to walk around with that all day
Dragonfly boy ... yes, we will be printing "Guest of" badges for all those who have registered and paid for guests. That means there will be two dragon flies fluttering around at CanJam '08 .... be still, my heart.

Dom's a friend. I knew he was kidding around. Besides he knows what Luca "NightTimeWounds" Brazzi is capable of.

Just a thought.
Would you be able to make my avatar spin around like it does on Head-Fi? That would be awesome, and I would really like you guys a lot.

i think you might be need something like this - ScrollingBuckle.com | The Electronic Scrolling LED Belt Buckle. Only $29.99! to pull that off or perhaps a 3" lcd panel. now THAT would be cool.
10 points to anyone who does that at canjam.

Ain't nothing gonna make this avatar pretty. Then again, I could always roll with a Vincent Price moustache...

Dude, how did you get past the 100 X 100 restriction. It's huge!

Would that we could. For animated avatars, the first frame of the animation is what gets used.

For what it's worth: the image we're using for badges is the "Avatar" picture that appears alongside your posts.
Yes, avatars are unfortunately limited in size and resolution (though, we like to think, unlimited in coolness ). But since the avatar pic is the one that people see all the time, it's a better aid to recognition than the profile pics which people see less often, and the idea here is to help people recognize each other even though they may never have met before in so-called real life.
