Iron Man
As a self proclaimed nerd, who wants to be a nerd with Sennheiser and go see Iron Man on Friday night?
Almost two years ago Marvel and the prop company they worked with asked us for a PXC450 to use in the movie, but it was still under wraps at that time. I wonder what they went with for that scene (if it made the movie)...

I watched the film yesterday. BEST MOVIE I'VE WATCHED ALL YEAR. Love the characters, the story and the cool graphics. As for the headphone, I wasn't keen eyed enough to spot it (since I wasn't looking for it). Those who have second thoughts about watching the movie, just go watch it, the only complain I have is that the movie wasn't long enough to include a much bigger/longer ending fight scene.

i heard that this is the first comic book made movie that doesnt suck.
Depending on the time, i might have to join you for it. It opens friday though correct? Going to be hella packed on opening day.
Kinda makes me think back to when Star Wars Episode 1 came out. We tried to buy tickets all day and finally got them for the 12am showing of the movie.

no worries we'll have some fun with it...of course the iPod and some sennheiser headphones will keep me company, as well as the antics of some fellow head-fi'ers muah-haha!
stop by the sennheiser table and we'll try to organize a time to go.

I watched it today, but felt cheated, like I'd only seen half the movie. I left feeling like I'd paid to see the set-up to a franchise. Despite that, Downey Jr. is excellent, and the tone of the whole thing is great, making him a fallable hero a-la Indiana Jones... I'll probably see the next one!

great...see you all tomorrow!
i'll be at the hotel mid-day, you can just ask for Eric Palonen whenever you're ready.
There looks like a good theater with a dozen or so showtimes, I'm going to shoot for 7:30pm.
