I also forgot I have my own gasmasks for travelling on the Turnpike. Once you get off thought NJ is nice. But anyone doesn' mean I won't be there for CanJam. That is unless it is during exam time.

Having been forced to miss the last 2 Int'l meets (the first business-related, Florida due to fairly significant tinnitus ), I will NOT be passing up this one in my home town... just got off the phone with Edwood, and offered my assistance/home/airport shuttle service/whatever is needed to make L.A. a reality.

Actually, I've been away for a good while (the damn tinnitus thing), and can't think of a better way to get back up to speed with Head-Fi

L.A. in '09!

Glad to see an old hand involved, Bill. L.A. in '09 is gonna be great - we can meet at the airport, just like old times ...

Kidding aside, I am impressed and happy at how quickly a solid team has come together for L.A. I am sure you all will have as much fun, frustration, and satisfaction as your brothers and sisters ahead of you in NY, SJ, and SoFL did in pulling this together. Vive la L.A.

Thanks Gene, it looks like the SoFla contingent set the new gold standard in meet perfection... not to mention a new high in debauchery and mayhem . Hopefully we'll be able to make you guys proud.

I'm an hour from LAX and should be sober enough to show up.
