I'm sure we'll all need a bit of a rest after CanJam, but S. Florida is a pretty active group of friends and another meet will happen. Keep your eye on the meet forum section of this website.
Congrats on new arrival. If at all possible, it would be great if you could even spare a couple hours to check things out and introduce yourself to everyone. There won't be another meet like CanJam around these parts, at least not for a very long time.
Mini meets are fun because of the come as you are attitude. Not much planning and although short (2 to 4 hours) they are more intimate. If you, Likecoiledsteel, or others would like to host one I am game.

Thanks,

LOL, congratulations ahead of time.
I missed last year's International Meet because my daughter was born.

Hi Guys,
Thank you for the warm welcome. I look forward to Can-Jam, hopefully I can go. If not, a mini-meet would be fun also. I have been in audio for a while but my local friends are not into it and think I am crazy with the gear and such. Finding the time to listen is always a challenge. I just built a very small sound room (9.5 x 9.5) in my garage to listen and not disturb the household. I do not use headphones though, as I see this is mostly a head phone site.

Let There Be Sound and Todd The Vinyl Junkie will have entry level to high end speaker rigs in their rooms. LTBS will have on the high end $15,000 Genesis speakers. Headroom will have a very nice desktop speaker rig in their room.

I met OZ last year when I went to his store. I saw that he was a Gallo dealer and I have the Gallo Reference 3.1's as my front end. Really nice guy with some really nice gear. I will visit him again the next time I am in that area.
At the mini-meets, is it mainly a head phone gathering, or do other audio/speaker topics come up. I have to admit that I know absolutely nothing about headphones. I am a speaker/amp/cables kinda guy that loves audio.

So on Friday you'll share a cab, or call one of us, and we'll get you. As to getting home .... we'll see.

No cab sharing on Friday. I'm landing at 9 a.m.
M.B. had said he would try. If not, I'll use my manly wiles to get a pretty lady to take me east.

Speaking of cabs, anyone driving along the Florida Turnpike past Boynton Beach on Saturday morning that can pick me up? I'm about 100 yards from the highway.

That makes it sound like you're at that location right now.
