Sausage Fest... Hilarious.
That's what I was calling the Bike Nights down here in SoFla. 200 dudes standing around, with the occasional skank thrown in, staring at motorcycles.

Another recommendation for visiting CanJammers with some extra time; Take a cruise over to the MaiKai
It is probably the best tiki bar in Florida. Killer drinks, good menu, and fun shows.
Chris
p.s. No skanks. Genuine Hawaiian dancers.

Do not, I repeat, do not, take Spirit Air.
They have screwed me royally to FLL.

Sounds serious, what happened??!!? I godda tell ya after seeing that show airplane or airport, whatever it was called, I'm not that crazy about Southwest either. Dad said the corporate jet will be tied up doing shuttles to Paris in May so I'm running out of options here.

Not "serious" serious, just "ruined weekend for me", serious. They called me Fri. night/Sat. morning at 1 a.m. to tell me that they ran out of planes for my Saturday morning 7 a.m. Tampa meet flight. There next flight was at 7 p.m. (after the meet was over).
Of course with 6 hours to take-off, no other airlines had a flight under $1500 and I missed a meet that I was really looking forward to.

Serious enough Aaron. I wouldn't even know how to reply to something that utterly ridiculous!

There is a meet in Tampa this weekend?
Where have I been lately? My Atom is in Tampa and a Head-Fi meet is in Tampa, and I'm in Cayman? Somehow that doesn't seem possible.
Why would you fly into Ft. Lauderdale to attend a Tampa meet? x2

Chillax Waynester. He's referring to the meet back in June or whenever that was.
Or maybe you knew that. I dunno, I don't see where you're going with the last line of that post.

Tell the truth, you have a meet and Wayne is not on the list!

Oh, I should have known! It's Aaron we're talking about, and he never forgets anything. That miderable New Yorker thing he does is a big part of his charm. You should hear him grumble about traffic on the LIE!

The last line was simply me being puzzled about what Aaron had said. From what I read, I thought he was saying that the airline cancelled his flight into Ft. Lauderdale. Isn't that what FLL is? Why would he fly to the other side if the meet in question was in Tampa unless he's some nut case (like me) who likes to drive back and forth all the time!
Yes, somehow I knew that his commnets couldn't possibly be referring to the present tense. For one, we just had a Florida meet! But Aaron is normally quite precise (another part of his considerable charm) so I didn't check my (apparently false) assumptions before posting. No worries, I know you guys wouldn't party without me! At least not over in Atom Land!

Just reserved my hotel room yesterday, right at the end of the great Head-Fi outage of '07! Can't wait for CanJam!
