I have some other home rig things I'm looking for, but those are the main things I'm currently wanting to hear before dropping some coin on my home rig set-up. Hopefully, I'll be able to hear those cans on the Opera. I wouldn't mind giving a go-round on some RSA home products, but frankly, those things are out of my price range.
Some sweet stuff you are looking for, the closest I have is the Ultrasone PROline 2500.

Yeah, I'm actually going to bring the CC if there's some of those things for sale there and I like what I hear. Especially things of those price range, I can't drop that much coin without hearing it first.
The CC usually nevers sees past the sock drawer as it's for emergencies. But this is an emergency, I need a home rig, lol.

Save up, sell some gear and stop with the excuses. The hotel has a/c, you won't melt, I promise. It's a plane ticket and two night's in a hotel, 7 months from now. Split the room and it's less.

And may I add... the hotel is gorgeous! We were there for the So Fla meet this weekend. You walk into a beautiful area in the middle of the hotel, with a water feature made out of little waterfalls and pools and so forth. Outside there's a grotto-like pool with stone waterfalls and a Koi pond. The hell with headphones, I just want to hang there for a weekend.

Thanks. I looked at many possible venues for CanJam before choosing the Embassy Suites. I think it will be perfect for what we have planned.

For you, I think we can make room. There are still rooms available. I was thinking about doing a Playboy Mansion theme since the hotel has a grotto. I wonder if that would be of interest.

Just thought people would like to know that Southwest (which flies into Ft. Lauderdale) is opening it's schedule up through June on Nov. 8th-ish. So on Nov. 8th you can log onto Southwest and get a good fare for your airline tix.
At least that's what it says on Southwest's website...it is subject to change.

After having the recent SoFlo meet at this hotel I am convinced this hotel is going to make a perfect venue. For those planning to go a few suggestions
keep an eye on flights and book them as soon as they seem reasonable this strategy allows you to spread out the spend buy the tickets in Jan/Feb gives 3/4 months to recoup. I just did round trip to Florida from Northern California for under $300
Begin to network with Headfiers and plan to room share either 2 or 3 to a room this will cut costs in half and people the rooms are actually a steal when the breakfast and happy hour are factored in. Hey Thrice and I can eat and we went to town on a nice buffet breakfast. Load up early and have a light lunch. THe rooms are suites and are plenty large for 3
Bring the family this could actually work it's a short trip to the beach and it's the Air and Sea Show same weekend. This could be a great way to show the family your headphone obsession can benefit them.
Take the wife/Significant other out to a great dinner at Himmarshee Village or Las Olas Blvd or River Walk. You'll probably get a free pass for the next meet for doing this
Below are a few links to ways to make this a killer vacation while attending the meet

Himmarshee village is a great place to hang if you are looking for great dining and nightlife. It boasts a world class New Orleans style dining, great sushi, seafood and grills. It has some really fun bars with great music some of the better places to get your groove on are Bar 213, Dicey Rileys, Fat Cats, Coyote Ugly (not one of my favs but always packed), Club Revolution (stages National acts in a great venue), Voodo Lounge for the players, the Poor House has good local music this is all on one street, if you can't have fun with the wife or the fellas you probably can't have fun anywhere
