What happened to Headfest? Well, here in Florida, we are into accuracy. If we'd kept that name, we'd all be in jail by Friday night and that just wouldn't work out right at all.

Holy crap...I missed this one as well. Very sly there, Flo-guys.
Unless someone flies in from Canada, I should likely have the highest cost ticket from Wa state. But who's counting...this is another chance to hear more great stuff. I lost track of how many times I shook my head in disbelief at the amazing sounds at Headfest, so I'll toast the prospect of another weekend of fun.
See y'all there!

We are glad you guys can make it. I'm hoping we will have a seperate forum for CanJam '08 soon so it will be more visible. Jahn, we need your posting powers to keep it on top until then.

We've got to have 'Jam' in there because there will be some raucus live musical performances at this most amazing event!
Could have called in HeadJam, I suppose, but that sounds kind of painful. Just so you'll know up there in frozen New Yawk, we can jam in sunny Florida!

May is the most beautiful time of year in New York.
BTW- IT stills says "Xerox" on the cover of the Wired cover in the first post.
Some promises were made, and yet unfulfilled.

I can't help you there. You will have to take that up with Miss Vicki.

Miss Vicky...can you remove the name of the company that ruined me and my family's life after 18 years of loyal service, off the Wired cover. They are the antithesis of what these comradic meets are all about.
They are a commercialized entity that did not give one hoot about it's lifelong employees.
A real sticking point to me.
If you can't...don't worry about it. Anthrax letters are being sent out as we speak.

Yeah, capitalism!
"Off with their heads, I say!"
"Yes, indeed. Let their heads roll. We can find dozens more just like them, and pay them half as much. When the replacement troops get too good for us to afford, we can do this whole corporate restructuring 'exercise' again..."
Sickening.

I can't, as in I don't know how. Sorry. It was a basic generator, sponsored by Xerox, I guess. I don't have any snazzy photoshop software or anything like that on my computer and wouldn't know what to do with it if I did. If any skilled head-fier wants to help ameliorate immtbiker's PTSD, please step forward. The offending pic is in the first post.

Vicki, you're so nice, so sincere. Sure you're not related to Gene?
I say we keep Xerox in there and even make it more fun by adding some of their slogans that will take Aaron back in time...
Or better yet, a few choice gems from Steven Wright:
"I xeroxed my watch. Now I can give away free watches."
"I xeroxed a mirror. Now I have an extra xerox machine."

Not knowing that someone else was working on it, I changed the pic on post #1 and added some text.
If anyone, I mean, anyone has a problem with it, please PM me and I will change it back, right away.

Color me late to the party as well.
Barring some kind of "schedule conflict" like last year, I'll be there.
