I think other room options that have been explored, but not yet confirmed as anything other than drunken ramblimgs are:
The K1000 room
The ghetto room (nothing over $150)
The high-end room
The portable room
...and now the playroom. Gene and Aaron, the Meet Meister has spoken. We have our own room with optional babysitters. Do you want to play? I'm quite serious.
I was hoping the hot accupuncturists would be the babsitters.

I am pretty sure we can count on there being no playdoh left by the end of the meet.

EDIT: I just remembered who I'm dealing with here, and have, therefore, decided to back away from this idea entirely. You guys will surely do damage with it.
Vicki, you have to remember that deep down, we are still 8 years old which is why the I knew the idea of a playroom would go over with this crowd. Well, that and the plasic headphones.

The assembly of those comments in a row is a good example of why I decided to back away. Knowing you guys, that's barely a beginning. Where your collective 8-year-old powers could take it.....I don't want to know.

When I was eight, we all stuck a pin in our fingertips and became blood brothers/sisters for life (look how that turned out).
I vote that we all take HIV tests before the meet and become blood pals in the playroom.
It's up to Vickie (being the only woman) if we want to play "I'll show you mine, if you show me yours".
Regardlesss, I believe the Toys-R-Us playroom would work out well, as long as we all agree to leave the room the way we found it, when we're finished. In our case, the outlet safety plugs might present a serious problem, though.
As far as the ghetto room is concerned, will grafitti and bodegas be involved?

As scary and mildly illegal as this event sounds, I don't think I'd forgive myself if I didn't at least attempt to attend. Do northenders need a passport for Ft. Lauderdale??

Don't worry, I will make sure you get in. I was wondering how long it would take you to discover this thread. Attempting to get here is unacceptable. I want a committment. How is this, if you make it down here I will find a way in the next year to get to Philly and buy you a beer at Monks.

Thanks Raul. I'm rather fond of it myself. I do hope you're coming. Though things are not yet out in the open, plans are in place for an event you, of all people, don't want to miss. I'm serious. Get yourself on a plane and be here!

355 pages, assuming Jahn finds his way to the thread. So glad you did, Everett! I assume you are committed and I hope your buddy from the other meets will make it as well (I always blank on his name ). Anyway, this meet should be a riot, although with this crowd I should probably use a different word... See you in May!

And then the pages will stop coming as Jahn waits for his 30,000th post!

wow this shows how far out of it i am. i totally got confused and thought "CanJam" was just some funky floridian name for their regional so i ignored threads with this header, haha! What happened to HeadFest? Is my HF2 hat going to end up being a lame duck? moving target market branding! anyhow you know i'll try to get down there, hehe.
edit - i just read the posts above me on this page - oh yes, let the Team begin the spamfest, or as I like to call it, SpamJam '08! and yep this was my 21,000th post, whoopee!
