Is anyone bringing a Rudistor amp? Say an RPX-33 or the RPX-100? Thanks.

I have been contacting vendors. Thought nothing is definite at this stage, I am very hopeful that Rudistor amps will be present.

I have contacted other than the US rep, and again, have high hopes. As details are confirmed, more will be revealed.

Ack! Does that mean if I come I'll need a bulletproof vest? I think my wife will protest if there's shooting involved...
Last time I had a weapon in my hand I almost shot my own foot.

Bullet repellant spray will be handed out before any type of shootout. Using the big audiophile terms, if an amp is too unfocused or it's character is too loose, it would of course result in deaths. Any amp known to exhibit these characteristics will be issued a nerf-dart gun.

Does Flecom's open boxed, point-to-point, hard wired, excellent sounding, science experiments count as a possibility in delivering an unrecoverable death blow?

I sure as hell hope you are going to make the next meet Pete. I wanted more time to hang than I had last time and this would be a great opportunity! No flak jacket will be required.
BTW, I am listening to your TTVJ Portable Millett Hybrid right now with an iMod and Edition 9s in my hotel room in NY and it sounds fabulous! I just saw Bill Clinton in the lobby (his Global Initiative is having a conference here) and if I could only get him to try this beauty he would surely be hooked on headphones! Not sure he would be willing to muss that perfect hair, though.
Here's to hoping you make it to CanJam!

People that are interested in attending start planning NOW. While we are still 7 months out last year people were casualties to trifle matter like work and family
Start bribing the wife now with some well timed flowers, slip in a picture of the beach and mention how much you'd like her to attend or do what many do jewelry is always good for a pass to attend.
Slot the days off of work now if you need them this way your boss can't say you didn't give them enough notice.
Buy a piggy band the kind with no way to get the cash out without a hammer and put $10-20 a week in there as a CanJam super fund.

Good advice jp. Also keep on eye on the various airlines to see just when tickets for that time period open up...the earlier you book your flight, the better the rates. I check Southwest daily since the cheap seats fill up quickly.
Also you only need to give a credit card number to reserve the room. They won't charge it until you're there. You can also cancel your room 24 hours in advance without penalty. So booking a room somewhere should be a no brainer. I booked a suite there already. If I can't make it then, oh well, I'll just cancel.

Remember there are a limited number of rooms at the discounted price. The sooner those go the easier it will be to get more at that price. As thrice pointed out, your credit card is not charged until you check out and there is a 24 hour cancellation. There is no excuse not to book your room now.

And now we have a new twist to add. I'll happily donate my K1000 rig(s) or parts (F1 and/or Heed Obelisk) to the room, but they will be sharing duty with the TakeT H2. What to do?

That's easy, since it'a K1000 room not a TakeT H2 room.
