I arrive on Friday unfortunately, but I'm sure you guys can have fun without me.
If anyone wants to hook up for a drink or whatever on Friday, I get into town around 1:30pm.

We'll have to figure out who is picking you up, Jay, and get some malt beverages flowing upon touch-down. Check out the Friday night thread for current status, which is as yet unresolved, I believe.

I have rented a 12-person van for Thursday's fun, so you guys can enjoy and not have to worry about driving. With folks' flights landing as late as 6:30pm, my plan is to pick people up from the hotel at 7:30 and drive to B.T.'s.
If anyone sees a problem with this time etc., lemme know.

Thanks for the idea and the execution, Saint V.
Am I the last one in? If so, Gene will just drive fast back to the hotel and then we can leave at least a little closer to 7pm. The rest of the crew should be at the hotel and ready to go by then, right? JP will already be at BT for hours and will be sloshed by the time we get there (ok, as JP points out, I have blood alcohol envy when people start partying before me). Ken and Stacey should just take a cab to BT and then ride back in the van. Assuming that Gary and Xenia will be driving there on their own, we should have room for everybody else (11 people for 12-passenger van). As for cost, we can just add the cab and the van rental and split it up between us.
This is going to be fun, and a great start to the festivities!

I'll be at the hotel around 7, so it will just be a matter of seeing when you get in. I told Ken I'll pick him up. I just can't let him take a cab all that way. Save me a seat, and all's well.

Did you arrive in SoFla yet? PM me, boomana, tyrion and JP11801 your cell phone and we will make sure we connect with you. Also, plan on being at the hotel at 7pm tomorrow for the van ride over!
Cheers.
