Drew ... and anyone else who may benefit ...
here is the Google Map directions from FLL to Brother Tucker's in Pompano Beach ... 17.8 miles, 27 minutes ... heck, a dedicated Head-Fi'er could walk there in an hour or two ...
No excuse for no shows ...

WooHoo ... no forgetting here, Gary & Xenia, and it wouldn't be a party without the two of you.
Don't forget Grandpa Gene's babysitting offer for the day of CJ '08. I am a great baby walker and amuser, and when I get tired, there's Tyll, Ray, and many others to back me up. Can't wait to see you guys again.

You are likely no more than 20 minutes away, depending on traffic. Brother Tuckers is at Atlantic Blvd. and A1A (by the beach). Atlantic Blvd runs east/west. CS is on the west end.

That is perfect by me, sweetcheeks. Todd gets in at 4p and I get in at 6:15. If he goes to the hotel, will you already be there? If not, he has said he'll just hang at FLL if necessary--he has got the priorities straight for sure!

This is going to be a fun event, I highly recommend people try the soups as they are from scratch that day and excellent. Look forward to seeing you all there.

My mouth is watering already John.We weren't going to bring Melinda to the meet because she really doesn't like to be held anymore and she touches everything, but since noone has seen her in quite some time we're going to bring her on Sunday.Xenia works at Chuck's right across the street,so she is going to work after the meet Saturday, but I'll be at the dinner for partytime.Gary.

There's nothing like a hot bowl of soup to warm the bones on those cold May SoFla nights.

Awfully nice of his baldness to join in again. How was the state fair today? Any fried foods or fat people at all?
The food at Brother Truckers is excellent and the beer is over the moon (to stick with the metaphor trend).
