Not just yet, but hold tight, and it'll be here before you know it!

I imagine we will take on some helpers as the event approaches. Keep your eyes peeled for any relevant threads as time goes on, and rest assured, if you want to help, we'll probably be able to find something for you to do

Hmm, it's October now. I thought information was supposed to come out around September. Hoping everything is going smoothly for the planners.

We're getting ready for the Big SoCal Head-Fi meet in about two weeks. It's being held at the same hotel being considered for CanJam. We're treating this meet as a dry run of sorts.

Well, I imagine 'dry' isn't exactly the key word there...

LOL, actually compared to the amount of liquid refreshments at CanJam, yes, it will be very "dry" in comparison.

Thanks for the info Edwood. I hope you guys settle on a June date for Can Jam so I can make it. I'm eagerly anticipating this meet so I can finally audition a lot of equipment I'm considering to purchase in the future.

good call out and sorry to folks looking for updates, here's the scoop
we are in final contract talks with the Hotel and the dates are limited due to hotel space availability. I plan on signing my life away at the SoCal meet coming up in two weeks.

Seems like I am not the only one awaiting further information.
...especially date(s).

Ha, I'm sure we're not the only ones. Can Jam should be a pretty big event. Other people are probably a little bit more patient than me and can resist asking.

Tentative dates for CanJam 2009 are 5/29-31. We are looking at vendor set up Friday night with a small pre-show meet then Sat and Sun are full on rock your socks off International Meet.
Please do not book anything yet as the contract still needs to be finalized. David (909) has worked hard at securing a great venue with a killer room rate. I stayed at the hotel for the last LA meet and the rooms are nice and the beds are comfy. They did a great job dampening the sound of the airport in the guest rooms.

Yes, but will they dampen the sounds of our shenanigans?
