Audiophilechina
After much waiting for a good used Darkvoice to come along, I decided to order a new 336SE from Audiophilechina. They are online and the same as the Ebay seller, "Casque Hi-fi" or some similiar name. The price with shipping was very good, lower than the Ebay prices. They were fairly quick in responding to my e-mails and I had to wait one week for a 110 volt 336SE to be in stock. From the time I made Paypal payment and it's arrival was 14 days. It was packed very well in it's own form fitting soft foam container. It didn't come with any tubes!! I have a fair amount of 6sn7's and 6as7/6080wb's so that wasn't really a problem. I have read here on the forum that the supplied tubes were not that good anyways.
The amp had a slight hum in one channel out of the box, but was gone within 30 minutes and hasn't returned. I am currently using a Tungsol 6080WB(probably the same as a Bendix 6080wb) and a grey glass RCA. This is one good amp, after using a MPX-3 for a few years, this amp comes pretty close.
I would order from Audiophilechina again, I may someday buy the 337.
