Default Is there a portable video player that will squeeze the video file?

The ipod video / ipod touch have very specific needs for video size, something low like 200 X 300... all my videos however are probably about 3-4 times that size... are there any portable media players which don't care how big the actual resolution is, and will squeeze them to the size of the player?

my zen vision W has played .avi and .mpg videos as big as 720x480, I love this thing. It even plays xvid encoded video!
