man you all have better combo amps with street cred than my unknown lil epi amp! this epiphone is called "model 1826" or something - whatever it is, it's lost in the annals of history at this point. but it's based on the Gibson Skylark, which in turn is trying to be a Fender Champ, so yeah, if you have a Champ-like amp, y'aint missin' nada!

Man, I'll tell you what... I was playing with my white Jay Turser Colonel, and this little Piggy with decent tubes and the AlNiCo, kicks ass!!

Can't wait to find out what my 12" Eminence/Fender BluesJr speaker in a 1x12 is gonna sound like.

btw folks do you ever feel it's about the tone, not the technique, because you can manage the tone but the technique is like this little nirvana you can't reach? kinda like when you see this or even gear-wise see this.

haha thats pretty good.

I think the technique is more important. a guitar god will sound great on a really crappy set up. finding a good tone helps you stay enthusiastic about playing and keeps you practicing, and your technique will improve because of it. so I guess tone is more important after all.

do you single coil guys find the hum to be really annoying? i come from the land of humbuckers and 2-4 position strats, so the Tele drove me crazy. so i got a noise gate - this thing is a godsend, Check It Out!
