Once Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros Brawl and the new MAriokart are out, I think that the wafer thin layer of reserve I have which has stopped me getting a Wii so far will collapse.

I have a copy reserved for me. Release date is Monday I think for Canada. This game and Assassin's Creed are the only games in recent memory (in fact likely since Super Mario 3 for me!) that I have been excited for a game.
What luck then that SM3 gets released on the VC this week!
I didn't know Wii games could be downloaded. Is a mod chip required? I wouldnt' want to be hacking my system...but I'm not a major gamer.

Yep. The only console that can't play "downloaded" games yet is the PS3.
