Default Stream AVI files to Xbox 360 in Linux

So, following today's fall update for the xbox, I was excited to be able to stream divx files to my 360. However, I've been using uShare on my Ubuntu box to serve files to my 360, and the -x argument that makes uShare "xbox compliant" seems to block AVI files (as prior to today they were not supported by the 360). If I start uShare without the -x argument, the 360 doesn't see the server at all. So, my question for all the linux heads out there is:
1) Is there a way I can alter the "xbox compliant" profile in uShare to stop it from blocking AVIs (the program itself supports them); or,
2) Is there some other program I could use to stream all video files, including WMV and AVI, from my Ubuntu box to my 360?

You could try renaming the files to WMV until there is an update.

Simple but brilliant! I'll try it as soon as I get home.
