Your right. I wasn't complaining but don't mind me, I'm new around here. It was just a suggestion that I could have done myself. No more noise from me.

I probably shouldn't say any more about it...

ahhh that's why it's so nice in here. Party scrapers are "dealt with". I like it!

As I am a linux user, I mainly use nothing but commercial apps. Have to say that some commercial software is better than free equivalents, but they aren't available for Linux, so.
Some good stuff I'd like to point out:
-- Avidemux (for Linux) or VirtualDub (for Windows) -- both do the same, they do simple cuts©s and edits to video clips and you can encode to XviD, x246 etc easily.
-- Rainlendar (for both environments) is a superb desktop calendar app. It blends into the background, is skinnable and is clear. +++!
-- Conky for linux -- make some stats on your desktop. I have
a configuration in which the current song is shown along with CPU, bandwith and top processes. I used to use DUmeter on windows for showing bandwith usage.
I could list loads of good stuff, but let's keep it short.

saint.panda. Nice list you got there.
I know most of them. But found a couple of unknown ones which I will look further into.
Thanks!

Heh, I would but most of what I use is Mac shareware. I have nothing to add here.
