Default Pen-Fi

Well i figured since no one posted this i might as well start it. I wanted to see what kind of pens all you head-fi'ers had out there.

Here is my custom made Bethlehem Holy Land Olive Wood fountain pen

And my ink of choice J.Herbin

I've also started experimenting with some Peliken 4001 inks to see what color combinations i might like to have.

So what pens and inks do you guys use?

Here in the US of A - it has been years since I have seen a BIC Clic (what we used to call the pen on the right). Just great to deal with tests that made me nervous.

Old Parker ball points with new Parker Gel ink cartridges. I just got tired of the fountain pen battles.

Can't help you there, I've always used a fine point sharpie but i never write very small.

Same here! I'm more of a pencil guy most of the time, but when I head out without my schoolbag (and hence an ample supply of writing implements) I usually take a notepad and a Parker Jotter with a gel ink cartridge in it. I like the size and shape of the Jotter, but the ink cartridges they come with are just nasty. The gel ones write wonderfully.

They're also a lot better than any of the (admittedly cheap) fountain pens I have used. I'm not a fan of those at all.

For a while I had a permanent black Staedtler Lumocolor pen that I somehow acquired by accident. It has since disappeared, just like all of my Staedtler pens seem to do, but when I did have it I thought it was just great for writing on CDs because it had an extremely fine tip for a permanent pen. Looking at their website now, I see they actually market a range of Lumocolors specifically for use on CDs and DVDs. I'd definitely suggest giving one of those a try!
