Ditto!
I find it to be close to perfect for my needs. Since I like Coverflow, use AirTunes, have my music in Apple Lossless, ...
it just drives me mad, i have to use the little bugger for my iphone, and although coverflow works well on the little screen of the phone i dont find it as effective on a big laptop screen display, plus i like the soft ambient colours of wmp 11, and the artist/album display, 60 at a time across the screen, really useful for choosing what to listen too
my itunes looks such a mess cause i dont maintain it, takes to long, sometimes album cvers dont load in it, and it misses some recordings out completely

You don't have to use coverflow in itunes. There are 3 different views you can pick. If it's missing album covers, you can add them yourself too. I can't believe anyone prefers wmp to itunes. WMP is a mess.

those sort of views, make me unable to part with it,
ive tried foobar, media juke box and itunes, itunes being the worst for me
improvements could be made to the left pane, and a bit easier navigation and now playing screen but these are minor

There's a big difference between Itunes on the Mac and on a PC. The Mac one seems to works significantly better than the PC version. I found the PC version to be very unreliable with my Ipods, so much so that I only use Floola now to move stuff onto (and off) my Ipod. Foobar, for all it's possible complexity and configurability, remains the music player on the PC. It plays my FLACs too, woot
