it would depend on the condition and age. A brand new one can be had from Musiciansfriend.com for $299.

That does look nice. If he is local to you, see if you can arange to look at it in person. $200 sounds like a deal to me.

is there such a thing as an acoustic that feels similar to an ibanez rg to play?

are there acoustic guitars that have double cutaways?

I will be checking it out on Saturday. He is throwing in a RoadRunner thick soft case with it as well. Can't wait!

sweet deal if he is also throwing in the gig bag!

As far as double cutaways for an acoustic, I haven't seen any, but I belive it could be possible to find one similar to either a Gretsch or maybe an Ibanez in the Artcore style. Also since both the Gretsch and the artcore are full hollowbodies, they sound good unplugged. I know that I often play my Gretsch Black Falcoln double cutaway without plugging it in.

How does the hollow body change the sound when it IS plugged in? Obviously the pickups only detect vibration from the strings so it would not change the sound all that much. It would slightly change the way the strings vibrate though.

Ive played one once but i didnt really play it for long enough to get a feel. it was nice tho
