But from what I know laws prohibit the iPhone to be available from/for only one operator. The operators can sell and subsidize phones locked to their network, but the phones should be available to sell "open" as well. To prevent monopoly.

Well one thing that will suck is there will probably be the monthly payment increase for 3G service. I dont think they will make any bigger than a 32gb model, probably 16 and 32.

I heard 3g is coming in less than 3 months. Just a rumor tho. From that old fart with glasses thats always making predicitions about things.
