My system is simultaneously undervolted and overclocked.

I run a throttling utility that came with my ASUS mobo. Works fine.

My E8400 OC'd to 3.6GHz never needs to be underclocked.

And it's has an indirectly cooled Scythe Mini Ninja cooler with no fan on it. Only two very quiet 120mm Fans both sucking for positive air pressure.

Oh, did I mention my GeForce 8600GT is passively cooled too.

Nope my MBP is just as hot summer, winter, or spring.

It gets hot period. But it's manageable I have an original MBP. I don't have the newer processor, which supposedly runs very cool. At least cooler than mine.

I keep mine the same as I do in the winter. I've noticed maybe a 2-3*C increase at idle, which was alleviated when I propped open two of my 5.25" bay doors to allow better air circulation (yeah, I know I need a better case).

Same here; my E6600 is running at 3.0ghz up from 2.4 with vcore at only 1.17v. Cores running at 36c right now which is good enough for me.

Very nice, wish I could justify a 45nm chip but my E6600 is running fine for now so I might wait 'til Q4 then upgrade to Nehalem and X58.

You must have a newer chip. My early adopting E6600 needs a good amount of juice to hit 3.2 and a stupidly higher amount to go to 3.4.

Me too as well. It's such a great cooler... although the thing is massive.

Underclock? What's that?
I got my E2160 1,8Ghz now at 3,3Ghz stable with idle 28 degrees celsius

Actually, under-clocking can mean many things.
