So its summer here and the temps have shot through the roof and I've noticed I've had my idle temps on my CPU increase by 15c compared to this spring! Because of this, I've been forced to reduce clock speed on my E6600 from 3.6 to 3ghz to get idle temps in the mid 30s. At 3.6 I was idling at 46-50c with a TRUE 120! How many of you guys have to reduce clock speed because of summer heat? Any temporary solutions?
I run my computer under clocked a good amount of the time mainly because I enjoy a really really quiet computer. The summer heat has never forced me to do such.

I am using an 8800gtx in a microATX case, I have to underclock it from 576/900 to something like 250/450 unless I am playing a newer game.
At over 3ghz the performance for my Q6600 becomes saturated and there isn't much gain, so I just run it at normal speed. I use the lowest voltage possible to run that speed without error. 50C is still within normal temperature for a cpu according to the manufacturers (I just made that up, but I am pretty sure it is not abnormal temperature). People just want it to run at 70*F because it gets them better fps, but I still own players with faster computers, no offense.
I don't.
There are no way (afaik) to clock down this MacBook Pro. It don't seem to run much hotter than in the wintertime anyway though, so its no rush.
my laptops fans seem to do a good job, it gets hot playing crysis tho graphics card at 75-80C

There is a reason for that. There is little to no summer here!
