no, LCDs cannot display the maximum colour range that a CRT can.

native resolution), the resolution on an LCD
can be changed, but if you are running it at a res other than its native resolution you will notice a drop in performance or quality.
my Sony GDM-FW900 CRT easily outshines my other LCDs in the area i am interested in, graphics/colours/gaming.
