As much as I love BRAVIA line, I do not recommend this set at all. I would go with Samsung for the 32" category. For 42" and above, nothing touch the BRAVIA 1080p. BTW, it's 120Hz not 100Hz.
My friend has the Samsung LE32R74BDX and prefers the Sony for picture quality. Plus hers only has one HDMI socket compared to Sony's 2. And she thinks the Sony 'black' is much more realistic than her Samsung. I've watched hers a few times, and I wasn't that impressed. . . although it knocked spots off my dead Trintiron!
You don't say why you wouldn't recommend it?
By the way - where did you read it was 120Hz? It's not, it's 100Hz. Are we talking about the same TV?

I guess not, nevermind. I was referring to the other one that looks like the one in the picture on the link but the one I was talking about was the 720p one, similar with every PlayStation 3 kiosk on retail store. I said 120Hz because it's usually twice the original highest 60Hz and 120Hz is the one I have on my 1080p BRAVIA.
You want the state-of-the-art Sony 32" LCD this is the one that you want. IMHO it is better than the Sharp. I have studied them all, this is the one I think you'll want...
