Anyone try the Race Drive: GRID demo yet?
I Recently downloaded the demo and was pretty impressed. The demo has circuit racing with a BMW 3 Series and a new Mustang, and drift racing with Silvia, complete with Japanese announcer Graphics are very impressive, you can expect the slight blurring of the cars that made DIRT seem so realistic. Car feel is similar as well, but the cars seem to break out of traction a little easier if you're not careful on the throttle. You'll also notice that T-boning cars Gran Turismo style will not result in a win (usually) because you'll destroy your car
Anyone else try it yet?

Hi, Highflyin9.
I tried the demo on the PS3. It just felt "right". I might spend some hours on this game

I've found that the road feel really adds to the experience and translates to a much more enjoyable game. Forza, DIRT, and GRID all seem to get it right.

Tried the demo too. Great graphics indeed! Could't really control the amount of throttle though; pressing the key the slightest amount ment full gass (might be my keyboard though..)
The game gives you a great feeling of speed

Gotcha White Rabbit, you'd most likely need some sort of analog controller or pedals on a PC to be able to get the type of control you really need. The keyboard key is either on or off unfortunately, which would just make the game unnecessarily hard

It sure does. It makes accelarating out of corners almost impossible. Unfortunately, I don't have a PS3 or Xbox 360, so probably need to buy a controller or something

Best looking racing game so far.
Not a big fan of crash damage effecting car handling. I know it's trying to be more realistic, but it just get's annoying when you can't finish a race because you can no longer turn left. Reminds me of Forza when playing online and one big crash becomes a swear fest of people not able to drive.

Yeah, Trying to play Forza online is pretty much pointless. The odds of finding people who won't smash into your car at the first turn on the course is pretty slim. I'm sure GRID will be the same.
