I cant imagine a video game giving more exercise than going to the gym. I will definitively check it out first before i buy.
Well DDR did work up a serious sweat.

My wife and kid want a wii really badly. How does one buy the things without getting ripped off. It looks like you have to buy a package with a bunch of stuff you don't want. I'd appreciate any suggestions on buying just what is needed to enjoy the thing.

Looks like preorders for Wii Fit are setting records:
Gaming Bits - Wii Fit Pre-Orders Sell Out In UK; 5-minute Preview Video
"Poised to become the fastest selling Wii game ever, "Wii Fit" by Nintendo has outstripped all previous records on Play.com by selling out its entire allocation in one day. Launching in the UK on 25 April, Play.com says it has been "overwhelmed" by demand for the new fitness game."
