Default Rock/Jazz/Pop Music Recommendations

Hello Head-Fi!

I am looking for some new music, and I want to explore more into the Jazz/Rock Genre, something like Steely Dan / Donald Fagen, which I like a lot. I love the combination of guitar, trumpet and the saxophone. Thanks for the help!

Do you know Morphine? Kind of a dark and bluesy rock sound with some jazz feel, sax and bass being the main focus, after Sandman.

The Morphine Trilogy - great sounding early 90s rock

-Mahavishnu Orchestra
-Miles Davis's Bitches Brew
-John McLaughlin
-Allan Holdsworth
-Shawn Lane (especially with Jonas Hellborg)
-Al Di Meola
-Frank Zappa
-King Crimson
-Pat Matheney
-Tribal Tech & Scott Henderson

Some of these I'm more familiar with than others. I have most everything from King Crimson, for example, but some are just well known names in jazz/rock fusion.
