Pearl Jam help?
I heard two Pearl Jam songs on the radio this week - the one where he wishes he was all kinds of things and the one that is a remake of the corny 50's song about the girlfriend who dies in a car wreck.
I never really paid attention to them, but - man - they sound great after 10 (?) years. Can anyone help me get started with buying a couple Pearl Jam albums?

First Song: "Wishlist" off the Yield album
Second Song: "Last Kiss", it was a single for the PJ fanclub
Both are outstanding songs.
IMO, their best albums are Ten and Vs. MANY classic radio hits on both of them. I would recommend them first. Honestly, Pearl Jam is best when listened to chrolologically to see how they progressed. Just start with Ten and work your way to Riot Act.

Vs. is the best, IMO. Followed by 10 and Vitalogy. Rest are (for me) a band in decline.

For me, none of their albums ever came close to "Ten". I thought "Vs." was good, and "Vitalogy" was better than average. Then, they went straight down the toilet.

I like Vs. and Vitalogy most, then Ten. Vs. is the tightest, best laid out album they have. Vitalogy makes you think.
