Default Music of the Spheres - Mike Oldfield

Hi All,

Firstly I find it very difficult to get into Classical music, for years my music taste has remained unchanged, basically rock and heavy rock. However recently I'm finding it all very boring.

Recently on a whim I purchased Mike Oldfields, Music of the Spheres from the iTunes store. To my surprise I'm finding it most agreeable

Can any one suggest other similar modern classical arrangements I can give a try?

I'm going to have to bump this thread.

This album is amazing. Thoroughly recommend it to all headphone listeners, especially the classical fans.

Who else here has this album?

I do, and I find it's an incredible piece of work by Mike & co. It's stunning, and there are true goosebumps moments in there... The forte from Harbinger comes to mind, for instance.
A truly wonderful record.

I have this. It is good, especially since Hayley sings "On My Heart"...worth the price alone!
