Default Music Posters

This thread is a bit off topic, but I thought you educated music lovers could help me :P
I'm on the verge of buying some posters for my room, and I'm gonna order in from AllPosters.com.
I was wondering what posters would you buy?
[Bands : Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gratedful Dead]
I need about 3-4 posters (normal size: about 24 x 36 in) budget: 35-40$
Thank you :]

Floyd and Zep were way better bands than the Doors. I'd look for some other posters. Zep had some great album covers that must be available poster-sized.

Default I have these and more...

I made the Man Or Astroman poster for a college class. I just got the Midlake from a show at the Belly Up tavern and the Brian Wilson poster is from his recent Pet Sounds tour.

I also have a poster hand-screened by Travis Morrison from the Death and Dismemberment tour of 2002 (w/ Death Cab for Cutie). It was limited to (I think) 250.

The Clash have some cool posters that aren't too hard to find. I'm sure you want a punk rock warlord in your room.

I may have not made it clear in my first post, but I think the way to go is to buy limited posters. They are unique and don't cost a whole lot more than the posters everyone else has. For example that Midlake screen was only $25 shipped. Then the Brian Wilson was $20.

Can you find me an example of a non-expensive Limited Edition poster?

BTW, i'm thinking of buying a fabric poster of Zep, Floyd and maybe a regular printed poster of the Doors or something :P

First off, if you are getting mainstream band posters, limiteds will be expensive. However, limiteds will most likely increase in value.

If you have any indie bands, or less known bands, that you like, limiteds are super-available.

These aren't necessarily limited, but they are wicked and some are less than $25:

D.King Gallery Rock Posters - Rock Concert Posters, Vintage Psychedelic Posters, Modern Gig Posters

Here is an example of a signed and numbered poster for a Midlake show for $25:

MIDLAKE 2007 PORTLAND SILKSCREEN GIG POSTER S/N ED - eBay (item 310028336187 end time Apr-01-08 10:57:26 PDT)

Here is a pretty sweet set of posters (would look awesome mounted side-by-side) for $60:

SET OF2 NICE MINT WHITE STRIPES DETROIT CONCERT POSTERS - eBay (item 130203219400 end time Mar-13-08 21:33:47 PDT)

I half collect these posters (only when I attend the show featured):

Scrojo Posters

They are usually around $25.

But the best way to get limited posters on a budget is to attend a bunch of rock shows. They usually only print posters for that tour and then they are gone. They cost between $10 and $20 most of the time. Actually, I have never seen one for more than $20 at a show.
