We're at close to 200 HDCDs listed here already. So that's what, 7% of how many are actually out there? Thanks everyone, and keep 'em coming!

I've had this cd forever, and always thought it was really well mixed, even before I discovered high end stuff. I always thought it was done really well, and what do ya know, it was - it's marked HDCD according to the Nad 542.
David Byrne - Feelings
I got it because he was plugging it at the local radio station. He was headlining their music festival, and he was saying it was a recorded in people's homes, not in studios and that you could do this now, the equipment was good enough. (This was years ago maybe 96 or 97). So yes, you can get well mixed stuff that's homemade, it just takes a little love.
edit - I only have the front cover left for this cd, but nowhere in the liner notes is it marked HDCD. I only know this now because when I started playing it I thought, this sounds better then it should, and thought to look down at the display.

Another find in my collection.
genre Punk
NOFX - Pump Up The Valium. I only have a copy I burned from a friends original. My copy is HDCD, I actually checked out my copy because of that HDCD website. It said this album was HDCD. I've had direct copies come out HDCD if the original was in the past.

All of the Legacy series titled "16 Biggest Hits", which all seem to be Country artists, are all HDCD. I've verified the following and would have no doubt that all of them are...
Willie Nelson - "16 Biggest Hits"
Johnny Cash - "16 Biggest Hits"
Roy Orbison - "16 Biggest Hits"
David Allan Coe - "16 Biggest Hits"
Merle Haggard - "16 Biggest Hits"
Johnny Horton - "16 Biggest Hits"
George Jones - "16 Biggest Hits"
They are all marked with a small logo as well...
Also the newly(late 2003) remastering of Patsy Cline's GREATEST HITS, done by Bob Ludwig, is HDCD and is marked.
That's it for now...

I am listening to the Grateful Dead Rockin' the Rhein, which I bought because it was mentioned in this thread. I have listened to a lot of live dead music and have to say this may be the best recording of a live dead show that I have heard. I am listening to it on a music hall ram cd-25.

Okay, it might be the same album as "the very best of..." but the title is a bit different.
Greateful Dead: Skeletons in the closet: The Best of
Warner Brothers release with "mastering approved by the Grateful Dead"
Just so you can compare against the very best of album:
Tracks include:
The golden road
Truckin
rosemary
Sugar Magnolia
St Stephen
Uncle John's Band
Casey Jones
Mexicali Blues
Turn on your love light
One more saturday night
Friend of the devil
EDIT: I just realised the album cover "list" of songs is wrong! There are 17 songs on this album not 11 as stated on the cover. Hooking up my ipod identified the album as "The very best of..." so its probably already on the HDCD list. Sorry for the confusion. But heck, I got 17 songs for the price of the 11 printed on the cover so I'm happy!!! Just for the record Truckin is really the first song on this album and Ripple is the last.
Well I went to large record store today and confirmed that my original purchase had the wrong disk enclosed... I actually got the "very best of" album as reported by my ipod. But, I did buy it for A$19 instead of A$29 that the very best album sells for so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.
And as far as sound quality goes this is a hell of a fine recording. One of the best in my collection.
Cheers,
TonyAAA

Joni Mitchell HDCD
There have been quite a few Joni Mitchell HDCD's released. The Only one I bought that wasn't labeled was "Blue", although now all I can find are the ones with the logo on the back of the disc.
Here are the Joni Mitchell HDCD's
"Song To A Segull"
"Clouds"
"Ladies Of The Canyon"
"Blue"
"For The Roses"
"Court and Spark"
"Miles of Aisles"
"The Hissing Of Summer Lawns"
"Hejira"
"Don Juan's Reckless Daughter"
"Mingus"
"Shadows and Light"
"Hits"
"Misses"
"Both Sides Now"
All of these discs are re-issues. They were also issued as non-HDCD titles originally on CD.
I am mostly interested in Classical titles, but I have most of these Joni ones. There are several HDCD titles on Dorian records. I will submit more titles later on.

Are you sure? I have this album and it doesn't come up as HDCD on my player. (Released in 1998, ND45636, right?)

Okay, I've done some more Grateful Dead purchasing and didn't see "Workingman's Dead" on the HDCD list here. It certainly is HDCD so...
