I saw him in concert 3 or 4 times a year from 78 on, except the 88 tour. I was traveling when the tour was announced and tickets went on sale and none of my friends thought to buy me a ticket. Of course most of my friends barely had enough money to buy themselves tickets.

Really? Thing-fish is a concert recording? That doesn't sound possible! It's a while since I've heard it, what with its not being my favourite Zappa album, but for a start there's no crowd noise ...
In any case, once you've got the version of "Torture" from YCDTOSA#1 there's not much reason to go for Thing-Fish, surely?
